RESUME
Architect, possessing a master's degree in Urban Planning and a Ph.D. in Urbanism from the University of Lisbon, focusing on the evaluation of territorial-based public policies in Portugal. He has been actively engaged in activities across various territorial scales, both nationally and internationally, working on architecture, urbanism, and planning projects, incorporating insights from his scientific research. He has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams in applied research projects in several locations, including Portugal, Cape Verde, Angola, and Timor-Leste. As an invited Assistant Professor in the Department of Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, he teaches in the Integrated Master's in Architecture, Integrated Master's in Urbanism, and at the Ph.D. in Urbanism program. He is a collaborator at the Research Center in Architecture, Urbanism, and Design (CIAUD) and a member of the URBinLAB – Urbanism & Territorial Dynamics research group. Scientifically, he has collaborated with GEOTPU.LAB at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and has published books and several scientific articles. He has also served as the Director and co-founder of the academic portuguese journal of architecture and urbanism, REVAUAP®. He holds the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Academic Merit Award in Urbanism (2012) and the ARCHIPRIX PORTUGAL Architecture Award (2013). Currently, he is pursuing the XXII Executive MBA at the AESE Business School.
